As you have probably noticed the UK buses section has been removed from this website, this is because all the photographs are now being moved into their operator folders (in the UK Bus Companies) group. There will be a selection of new photos included in the transfer.
Another new section to London Bus Routes Fotopic is the special Bus Routes group, this will include a selection of Park & Ride buses, Shuttle services and also rail replacements. I hope you will enjoy.

If you are interested in all sort of transport now the website will including some trains as we have buses, trams and trolleybuses. This feature will be coming soon, so i hope you enjoy viewing the photographs.

Welcome to London Bus Routes
I hope you have enjoy viewing this website. London Bus Routes opened in Decmeber 2005, and there was a limited number of photographs and these were taken in the Croydon and Bromley areas. In around May 2006 I decided to change the layout of the website, and make the photos in bus route order, Me and other people thought this was an excellent idea, and the website is still the same today.
On the website you will be able to find photographs of you local London bus route, Histories, the operator and a current timetable link. Only around 30% of the bus routes have histories wrote up on them. Hopefully by next year we can get that figure up to at least 40%.
The photographs on this website are all copyrighted, to the owner, so please ask permission from the owner if they are not taken by myself. Many Thanks to Lots for providing the bus route histories, and also to all the photographers that have granted permission to use there photographs. Please feel free to submit photographs but you must of taken them by yourself so you own the copyright.

57 Contract retained by London United with 25 existing double deckers. New timetable to improve reliability.
65 Contract retained by London United with 21 new OmniCity double deckers. New timetable incorporating additional peak hour journeys. Night service extended to Chessington World of Adventures via route 71.
71 Contract retained by London United and New Timetable.
85 Contract retained by London General with 15 existing double deckers. Extended from Fairfield Bus Station/Eden Street to Kingston Hall Road via Kingston High Street.
213 Contract retained by London General with 19 existing PVL class double deckers. New timetable with buses towards Sutton Garage diverted to run via Crown Road instead of Sutton Green at all times. Half hourly all-night service introduced.
265 Contract retained by London United with 11 existing single deckers. New timetable incorporating an earlier journey towards Tolworth.
281 Contract retained by London United with 23 existing double deckers. Evening and Sunday service increased to every 12 minutes.
371 Contract retained by London United with 14 single deckers (new 10.2m E200Dart/Enviro200 single deckers plus existing hybrids) and 1 new OmniCity double decker. New timetable to improve punctuality and incorporating an earlier journey towards Richmond.
375 Contract awarded to Arriva (Grays) with 1 existing single decker.
